Today's breath plan
A simple rhythm for your day

Steady your breath before the water
Slow nasal breathing and a long exhale calm the cold-water shock response. No hyperventilation, no breath holds in the water.
Finish any intense breathwork before entering the water. Never do hyperventilation or breath-hold practices in or near a cold plunge — they can cause fainting underwater.
Combat breathwork
Control between rounds, fights and recovery

Wind down for deep rest
Dim the lights, lie down and follow a slow rhythm. Sleep mode keeps the screen calm and controls simple.

Breathe in step with the trail
Match your breath to your steps — inhale over steps, exhale over steps. Rhythmic, calm, no unsafe breath holds while walking.
No breath holds during walking — keep the rhythm continuous and nasal where possible. Stop if light-headed.

How to practise
Five steps to a safe, effective session
Find a quiet space
Somewhere you won't be disturbed — seated or lying down, away from hazards.
Get comfortable
Relax the shoulders, soften the jaw, sit or lie in a position you can hold.
Follow the guide
Match the inhale, hold, exhale and rest cues. Let the circle lead your rhythm.
Notice the effects
Observe how your body and mind respond without judgement. Calm is a skill you build.
Stop if uncomfortable
If anything feels wrong, return to normal breathing immediately. No session is worth forcing.

Breathwork safety
Stop if you feel dizzy, faint, have chest pain, severe tingling, panic or feel unwell. Return to normal breathing if anything feels wrong.
Do breath-hold work seated or lying down. Never practise in water, while driving, standing in unsafe locations, or during a cold plunge.
Wim Hof / breath-hold work — NEVER IN WATER. Do seated or lying down. Not while driving. Not standing in unsafe locations. Stop if dizzy or faint.
If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or have epilepsy, speak with a clinician before trying intense or breath-hold practices.
